Duty rates and payment of state fees required for visa issuance

In accordance with Article 16.1.5 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Fees” of 2001 the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan charges a State Fee in the amount of 2 manats for sending an invitation letter and a relevant instruction for  issuance of a visa to a foreigner or a stateless person at a diplomatic representation or a consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

In accordance with relevant provisions of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Fees” of 2001, foreigners and stateless persons who visit the Republic of Azerbaijan should pay relevant amount of fees for the following categories of visas:

Single entry visa – 50 USD

Multiple entry visa – 350 USD

Tourist visa (applies only to those who submit a tourist voucher) – 20 USD

Single entry transit visa – 20 USD

Double entry transit visa – 40 USD

Attention! Members of travel groups of foreigners and stateless persons are charged individually on entering the Republic of Azerbaijan.

If the amount of fees imposed by appropriate authorities of foreign states to the citizens of  Azerbaijan differs from that determined by appropriate authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, then in accordance with Article 17.8 of the Republic of Azerbaijan Law “On States Fees” ( 2001)  an appropriate executive power determines an amount of  state fees equal to the amount of fees that is imposed to citizens of Azerbaijan in those countries.

In other words, a foreigner or a stateless person who visit Azerbaijan should pay fees in the amount determined for the citizens of Azerbaijan by his/her state on the reciprocity principle.

In foreign countries – a relevant account number provided by diplomatic representations and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

State fees for visa issuance are paid in cash at following addresses:

1. Visa section of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the International Airport named after Haydar Aliyev

2. Visa section of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Ganja International Airport;

3. Visa section of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Nakhchivan International Airport.

Attention!  An amount paid by person is not reimbursed in case of rejection of visa issuance.
